Tournament Instructions
Blast-off and weigh-in procedures for tournament day
Check-In
Enter through the channel on the east end of Fletcher's. Give Matt your boat number and have your live wells open for inspection.
Staging (Boats 1–18)
Move to the staging area 5–10 minutes before blast-off. Watch Matt closely and be ready to go immediately when he signals your number.
Staging (Boats 19–35)
Stay farther back and gradually move closer as Matt approaches your number. Give Matt a wave when he reaches your boat number.
Departure
When it's your turn, drive at minimum wake speed until you clear either channel.
Late Arrivals
Matt will remain 15 minutes after check-in. If you're late, you must still check in before fishing. Call him at 612-385-3379.
Parking
Dock at any available space on the west side of Fletcher's. Space is limited — please leave room for multiple boats on both sides of each dock.
Bag Your Catch
Grab a weigh-in bag and carefully bag your fish. Ensure there's adequate water in the bag. Tag your big bass for quick access during weighing.
At the Scale
Bring your fish to Matt at the scale. One partner holds the bag while the other removes the mesh bag and hands it to Matt. Big bass will be weighed separately in a dedicated mesh bag.
Photography
Take photos of your catch back at your boat! Send them to us and we'll share them on social media.
Awards Ceremony
No microphone will be used this year due to Spring Park permit requirements. Please stay close and be ready when Matt announces awards.
- Live wells must be open for inspection during check-in
- Maintain minimum wake speed through all channels
- Tag your big bass before arriving at the scale
- Be courteous with dock space to accommodate all participants
- Stay close during awards — no microphone amplification this year
