Check in with Matt at the landing dock before blast off.
Check-In
Check in with Matt at the landing dock before blast off.
Launch
Launch at the Maxwell Bay access and idle to the staging area. The water is shallow here, so anchoring is easy.
Staging (Boats 1–10)
Move to the front 5–10 minutes before blast-off and be ready to go when your number is called.
Staging (Boats 11–25)
Hold back and creep forward as Matt approaches your number.
Departure
Drive at minimum wake until you are well past Matt and the minimum wake buoys. Give Matt a wave when your number is called.
Late Arrivals
Miss or arrive late to blast-off and you cannot weigh in — unless you contacted Tournament Director Mike Hengel beforehand.
Drop Off
Drop your partner at one of the 4 docks near the landing.
Trailer
Pull out and wait for your partner to drop your trailer in.
Weigh
Load up, park, then bag and weigh your fish.
Timing
As long as you are inside the landing area by tournament end time, you are counted as on-time. You then have 25 minutes after end time to weigh in your fish.
Awards Ceremony
Stay close and be ready when results are announced.
